Destiny 2: Where to find Xur for the weekend of December 6th

destinys weekend vendor xur extends stay psnxbox live hacks destiny

Seasoned Destiny 2 players know they can count on the elusive merchant Xur to make an appearance with special exotic items every Friday, but what’s not so clear is where you’ll be able to find him. Below, you’ll find a map with a marker that indicates where Xur is and provides his list of wares.

Who is Xur?

If you’re new to Destiny 2 and need a bit more information about how this works, you’ll need to know that Xur is a special vendor who sells exotic weapons and armor. Each week, he comes to the solar system with a slate of goods, including an exotic weapon and one piece of Exotic armor for each character class. Lately, he’s also been carrying Fated Engrams, which guarantee players an exotic drop they don’t already have from the collection of exotics from before the release of Forsaken. As of March 12, 2019, he also sells gear exclusive to Forsaken.

Where to find Xur

The trouble with Xur is finding him. We always know when Xur will show up — at the daily reset each Friday, so 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET. The question is where Xur is. While previously in Destiny 2, Xur’s location was marked on the map each weekend, he’s now unmarked and thus tougher to find each weekend. Here’s where you need to go to track down Xur, the Agent of the Nine, and everything you need to know about what he’s offering this week.

Xur’s wares for this week

(December 6th – December 10th)

This week, Xur is hanging out on Titan. Load into The Rig landing zone and start running to your left until you reach the edge of the map. Then turn right and run forward, hugging the railing on the edge of the map. Once you’re out from under the overpass above you, you’ll see a little building directly to your left. There’s a little stairway right next to it, so look for that if you’re lost. Go through the building’s door and you’ll find Xur in the back of the room.

And here’s what Xur has for wares.

Black Talon – 29 Legendary Shards: If swords are your heavy weapon of choice, Black Talon is a particularly fun choice. In addition to your standard slicing and dicing, this weapon includes the special Crow’s Wings modifier. This allows you to shoot off projectiles when swinging the sword, turning it into a longer range option than your standard blade.

Lunafaction Boots (Warlock) – 23 Legendary Shards: Lunafaction Boots are built for rifts, which will buff your weapons. While wearing these boots and standing in a rift, your reload speed will increase. When you’re standing in an Empowering Rift, your weapons’ range will get an increase too.

Wormhusk Crown (Hunter) – 23 Legendary Shards: For dodging Hunters, Wormhusk Crown is a solid exotic choice. This helmet will give you a small health and shield bump when you dodge. So if your play style is all about retreating from danger, this helmet will help you stay alive a little longer.

Stronghold (Titan) – 23 Legendary Shards: Stronghold is an extremely specific exotic built for sword users. These arms are all about granting you bonuses when you block with a sword. While blocking, your movement speed will increase and you won’t drain sword ammo. On top of that, any shots you block after guarding will heal you. Pair this will a good exotic sword to get the most out of these niche arms.

Isochronal Engram – 97 Legendary Shards: You can only buy one of these Engrams per week, per account, but if you’re filling out your exotic collection, it’s worth it. The Fated Engram automatically gives you something you’re missing from the Destiny 2 Year 1 exotic set, and now Forsaken as well.

Five of Swords: Xur is also offering the Five of Swords challenge this week. This challenge introduces modifiers to Prestige Nightfall missions for increased rewards.
