The Life and Tiles of a Windows 8 Convert

Our own Andrew Kalinchuk is on a mission. Tired of the deluge of MacBooks, iPhones, and iPads surrounding him every day, he’s decided to trade in his Apple lifestyle for an old enemy: Microsoft. Though it’s been stagnant for the better part of a decade, in the last few years, Microsoft has completely reinvented its signature operating system, bringing it to smartphones with Windows Phone 8, entering the tablet market with Windows RT, and pushing PCs to the world of touch with Windows 8. We’ve equipped him with a brand new Lenovo Yoga 13 Windows 8 convertible laptop & tablet hybrid and replaced his phone with a Nokia Lumia 920. He’s going all in on Microsoft. He’ll chat on Skype and only share files on Skydrive. Each Monday, he’ll post another column on his life as a Microsoft loyalist. How is it being a Windows loyalist in today’s tech world? We’re about to find out.
